Pepsi and 710 ESPN wanted to highlight their new endorsement campaign with Tyler Lockett by understanding more of who he is as a person and seeing the city he represents as a professional football player.

Solution

We partnered with Pepsi and 710 ESPN, ESPN’s local affiliate in Seattle, WA to write, produce and direct a National online promotional campaign featuring Tyler Lockett of the Seattle Seahawks. The campaign was titled, “Unlockett with Tyler Lockett”. Pepsi’s goal was to carry the audience through a day in the life with Tyler as you learned about his character. It was a unique approach to attaching a face with a brand by delivering a natural conversation with Tyler and a local radio personality. Pepsi was proud of their partnership and very pleased with the reaction the content received online and through word of mouth.

Process

We told this story by conceptualizing and securing key destinations and activities in the city like throwing the football around at Memorial Stadium in the Seattle Center, eating at the famous “Crab Pot”, stopping by a local 7-11 to see his face as a National endorser of Pepsi and visiting the pier to take a ride on the popular “Wings Over Washington”.

We arranged a docu-style crew that covered multi-camera operators, lighting teams, hair and makeup, multi-media services and more to capture this 5 piece online series. Working in conjunction with Pepsi, ESPN, their agency and our crew, we were able to move effectively throughout the city.
